Is my video uploaded?
No. It’s decoded and re-encoded right in your browser with WebCodecs.
How do you hit the exact size?
Size is bitrate times length, so we calculate the bitrate for your target. If the encoder overshoots, we run it again with a lower bitrate.
Why did the resolution drop?
At a very small size a full-HD picture turns into blocks. A smaller frame with enough bits looks sharper, so we step down only when needed.
What if the size is impossible?
For long videos a tiny target may not fit. We give you the smallest file we could make and tell you. Turning off sound or trimming helps.
